We have been looking teenagers, adults, men and women holding mobile phones. However, now kids will be using mobile phones. Firefly is a new mobile phone which is designed for four year kids. It is reported that the company has sold around 7, 000 phones in Ireland and soon it will introduce the same in Britain.
As far as technical specifications are concerned four year kids will not find any problem in using the device. The handset has four buttons namely “on”, “off”, “mum” and “dad”. In addition, its phone book can keep a record of 20 contact numbers.
Firefly mobile phones are also drawing comments from critics. Critics are saying that these mobile phones should not be given to children because the electro-magnetic radiations might cause serious diseases to them. Others are also stating that the calls from strangers can prove vulnerable to kids. So it is better to keep off those phones away from children.
In this context the company says that comments pass by the critics do not hold strong points to ban Firefly as it has already been researched and eventually, the phone is introduced in the market. Still the company is quite certain that their newly designed gadget will be quite successful and above all, it has already sold many of its stocks.
